Yes. All of our engineers are Gas Safe registered, which is a legal requirement for anyone working on gas appliances in the UK. You can verify our registration on the Gas Safe Register website. We'd always encourage you to check this for any heating engineer you're considering — it's the single most important credential to look for.
Yes — we hold Worcester Bosch accreditation, which means we've been assessed and approved to install their boilers to the highest standard. We work with a range of leading boiler brands, and our recommendation will always be based on what's the right fit for your home, your budget, and your heating demands — not just one manufacturer.
We're based in Folkestone and genuinely local to the area. Our engineers work across Kent and East Sussex every day — from Ashford to Hythe, Dover to Rye, Hastings and beyond. When you contact EcoHeat PH, you're speaking directly with the people who will do the work. No national call centres.

Yes. Alongside our heating work, we install air conditioning systems for homes and businesses. Modern air conditioning systems are increasingly popular not just for cooling in summer but as an efficient secondary heat source in winter. We can advise on the right system for your space, usage, and budget.
Yes. We install air source heat pumps for homeowners looking to reduce their reliance on gas and move toward a more energy-efficient heating system. Heat pumps extract warmth from the outside air and use it to heat your home — they work even in cold weather and can significantly reduce energy bills over time. We can assess whether your property is suitable and advise on the best system for your needs.
Yes. We install underfloor heating systems as part of new builds, renovations, or alongside heat pump installations. Underfloor heating works particularly well with air source heat pumps as it operates efficiently at lower flow temperatures. We can advise on whether wet or electric underfloor heating is the right solution for your project.
Yes. Power flushing cleans your central heating system by removing sludge, rust, and debris that builds up over time and reduces efficiency. If your radiators have cold spots, your boiler is working harder than it should, or you're installing a new boiler into an existing system, a power flush is often recommended. We use professional power flushing equipment and can add inhibitor to protect your system afterwards.
Yes. We can supply and install a range of smart thermostats and heating controls, including models compatible with Worcester Bosch boilers and other leading brands. Smart controls let you manage your heating remotely, set schedules, and reduce energy waste — many customers see a meaningful reduction in their energy bills after upgrading their controls.
Yes. Our team handles a wide range of general plumbing work including leak detection and repair, tap and fitting replacement, toilet and bathroom plumbing, and pipe repairs. If you've got a plumbing issue alongside a heating job — or just a standalone plumbing problem — we can help.
Yes. We carry out drainage work including blockage clearance, drain investigation, and drainage repairs for domestic and commercial properties. If you're experiencing slow drains, blockages, or drainage issues, contact us and we'll diagnose and resolve the problem.
Yes. We install, service, and repair commercial boilers for businesses, landlords, and managed properties across Kent and East Sussex. Commercial heating systems have different requirements to domestic boilers and our engineers have the experience to work across a range of commercial setups. We can also provide ongoing service contracts to keep commercial systems running reliably year-round.
Yes. We carry out annual gas safety inspections and issue Gas Safety Records (CP12 certificates) for landlords. This is a legal requirement for all rented properties with gas appliances and must be renewed every 12 months. We can also carry out any remedial work identified during the inspection to bring the property back into compliance.
The cost of a new boiler installation depends on the type of boiler, the brand and model, the complexity of the installation, and whether any additional work is needed such as upgrades to pipework or controls. We provide clear, itemised quotes so you know exactly what you're paying for. Use our online Quote Builder for an instant estimate, or contact us to arrange a full assessment.
In most cases we can install a new boiler within the same week of your enquiry. We understand that a boiler breakdown isn't something you can wait weeks for — particularly in colder months — so we keep our scheduling as responsive as possible. Contact us to check current availability.
We install boilers from a range of leading manufacturers. We hold Worcester Bosch accreditation and are proud to recommend their products where they're the right fit, but we're not tied to a single brand. We'll recommend the boiler that best suits your property, your household's heating needs, and your budget.
A combi (combination) boiler heats water on demand and doesn't require a hot water cylinder or cold water tank — it's the most popular choice for smaller to medium homes. A system boiler works with a hot water cylinder but doesn't need a cold water tank in the loft, making it a good option for homes with higher hot water demand. A heat-only (regular) boiler works with both a cylinder and a cold water tank and suits older heating systems or larger properties. We'll assess your home and recommend the right type as part of your quote.
Yes, someone will need to be present for the duration of the installation. At the end of the job we'll walk you through the new boiler — how it works, the controls, and what to do if you have any questions afterwards.
Most boiler installations are completed within a single working day. More complex jobs — such as a change in boiler type or location, or where additional pipework is required — may take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote.
We remove and dispose of your old boiler as part of the installation. You don't need to arrange anything — we'll take it away and ensure it's disposed of responsibly.
Your new boiler comes with both the manufacturer's guarantee and our own workmanship guarantee. The manufacturer's guarantee covers the boiler itself and can range from 5 to 12 years depending on the brand and model. Our workmanship guarantee covers the installation work we carry out. We'll clearly explain both at the point of installation so you know exactly what's covered and for how long.
Most manufacturer guarantees require the boiler to be serviced annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer to remain valid. We'd recommend booking your service with us each year — we'll keep a record of your installation and service history, which makes things straightforward if you ever need to make a claim.
Contact us. If there's an issue with the installation or the boiler after fitting, we'll respond promptly and put it right. We stand behind our work and we're not the kind of company that's hard to reach once the job is done.
Yes. We're happy to be your long-term heating and plumbing engineers, not just the company that fitted the boiler. We offer annual boiler servicing, can carry out repairs if something goes wrong, and provide landlord inspection and certification services for managed properties.
Yes, we offer finance options on boiler installations, making it easier to spread the cost rather than paying for everything upfront. This is particularly useful if your boiler has failed unexpectedly and you need a replacement quickly. Contact us to find out more about the finance options available.
We aim to be transparent from the start. The price we quote is the price you pay for the work described. If anything changes during the job — for example, if we find an issue that wasn't visible at the survey stage — we'll discuss it with you before doing any additional work. There are no surprise invoices.
You can get an instant estimate using our online Quote Builder at ecoheatph.co.uk — just answer a few questions about your property and requirements and you'll get a price straight away. If you'd prefer to speak to someone, or if your job is more complex, call us or send us a message and we'll arrange an assessment.
For straightforward boiler swaps, our online Quote Builder gives you an accurate price without needing a visit first. For more complex jobs — changes in boiler type, heat pump installations, underfloor heating, or anything where we need to assess existing systems or pipework — we'll arrange a visit to make sure the quote is accurate before any work begins.
We'll confirm a date and time for the work that suits you, usually within the same week for boiler installations. On the day, our engineer will arrive at the agreed time, carry out the work, test everything thoroughly, and walk you through what's been done before leaving. You'll receive any relevant documentation — guarantees, certificates, or service records — at the point of completion.
We take this seriously. Our engineers work in people's homes every day and treat every property with care. We use dust sheets, clean up after ourselves, and won't leave until you're happy with both the work and the space.
